Childcare FAQ
- 01
- 02A: At Altadena Childcare Center, we prioritize creating a nurturing environment where your child can grow and thrive. To ensure that all children have what they need throughout the day, we ask that parents provide all basic care items. This includes diapers, wipes, creams, and any other personal care products your child may need. By bringing these items from home, parents can guarantee that their child’s specific needs and preferences are met. Our program does not supply these items, so your cooperation helps us maintain a comfortable and familiar setting for your child. If you have any questions about what items to bring, please don't hesitate to reach out to our staff for guidance.
- 03Q: Does Altadena Childcare C administer medications to children in its care? A: At Altadena Childcare C, we prioritize the health and well-being of every child in our care. We do not administer any over-the-counter medication to children. However, if your child requires specific medication due to a doctor's order, we are happy to administer it with proof of a doctor's note. This ensures that all medication given is both necessary and properly documented, reflecting our commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for your child's growth.
- 04A: At Altadena Childcare C, our operating hours are from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. If a child is left in our care beyond this time, there is a fee of $1 per minute charged for every minute after 6:00 PM. This policy helps us maintain our commitment to providing a structured and reliable environment for all families enrolled in our program. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy to ensure the best possible experience for everyone involved.
