​Altadena Childcare Center & Preschool was founded with a simple but powerful mission: to provide a safe, nurturing, and high-quality early learning environment where children feel loved, supported, and inspired to grow.

Originally established in 2019 as an in-home childcare program, our center was built on close relationships, individualized care, and a deep connection to the families we serve. Over the years, we became more than a childcare program—we became a trusted part of our community.

Following the devastating Eaton Fires, our journey took a new direction. Out of hardship came hope, growth, and resilience. In response to the needs of our families and community, we transitioned from an in-home program into a center-based childcare and preschool setting. This move represents not only our commitment to continue serving children during challenging times, but also our dedication to creating a space where healing, learning, and joy can flourish.

Today, Altadena Childcare Center & Preschool stands as a symbol of strength and perseverance. While our setting has grown, our values remain the same. We continue to provide high-quality childcare and early education, rooted in compassion, consistency, and intentional learning. Our program supports children’s social, emotional, and academic development while fostering a sense of belonging and security.
